TradesM8 terms of service

These terms are between TradesM8 ("we") and the business that signs up ("you"). By ticking the box when you sign up, or pressing "I agree", the person doing so confirms they can agree on behalf of the business.

What you get

TradesM8 is software for quotes, jobs, invoices and customer messages. What's included depends on your plan, shown in Settings → Plan. We aim to keep it running all the time, but can't promise it will never be unavailable, and we may take it offline for maintenance.

Trials, plans and paying

• A free trial lasts 30 days. When it ends you can still see your information, but you can't make changes until you choose a plan.
• Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Extra quotes, texts or invoices over your plan's allowance are billed at the rate shown for your plan.
• Prices are in Australian dollars and exclude GST unless shown otherwise. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice of price changes.
• If a payment fails, everything keeps working for 14 days while you update your card. After that, changes are paused until it's paid.
• You can cancel at any time. Your plan runs to the end of the month you've paid for.

Your information

Your business's information, including your customers' details, stays yours. You can download it at any time from Settings. We only use it to run TradesM8 for you, as set out in our privacy policy. You're responsible for having your customers' permission to store their details and send them quotes and messages.

Using TradesM8 properly

Don't use TradesM8 to send spam or anything unlawful, misleading or harmful, or try to get into another business's information. We can pause an account that does, and will tell you why.

Liability

Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Otherwise, as far as the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem, and we aren't liable for lost profits or indirect losses.

Ending the agreement

If you cancel, or we close an account for a serious breach, you can download your information for 30 days. After that we delete it, except what we must keep by law (such as tax records of what you paid us).

Changes and contact

We'll tell account owners about changes to these terms before they apply, and ask you to agree to them. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland. Questions: hello@tradesm8.au.
